The Companion Cat was created to satisfy those pet lovers who are allergic to pet dander. Our vibrapurr technology allows a cat to purr realistically, and it sounds and feels like a real cat. Just like a real cat, our Companion Cat is able to open and close its eyes, lift its paws, open its mouth, and move its head and body. The Companion Cat also has artificial, soft, combable fur inspired by real feline breeds.
The slight hum of the servo is minimal and doesn't detract from the realism that such a fine toy brings. In fact, I find him rather comical, and he really is a very entertaining pet. Its body is unique in that you can feel an internal "skeleton" similar to that of a real cat, underneath all the fur, all over its body, limbs, and paws. It's about the same weight as a real cat, and it's soft in all the right places; it's definitely not like a "brick" as one reviewer described it. Even the tail, which some say is just two strips of fabric sewn together, isn't that bad. Yes, it's not stuffed, but any stuffing would make it too stiff, and the fur and fabric used give it just enough texture to feel like a real cat's tail. It's also designed to drape nicely, tapering at the end so it drapes convincingly.
