Outdoor gardening is growing plants outdoors, in the open air.

There are some differences between indoor and outdoor gardening. These differences include:

Plant Species

Climate has a great influence on whether plants grow indoors or outdoors. Indoor plants require a controlled climate. Indoor plants can then grow indoors as the climate can be controlled and the environment can be manipulated to meet the requirements of the plant. Outdoor plants can withstand changes in climate and can grow in the open air.

Space Requirements

Indoor plants require less space to grow while outdoor plants require more space to grow. Unlike outdoor plants, indoor plants cannot grow to mature size. Its growth depends on the container in which the plant is grown. Its growth is limited by the container. The size of the container we choose for indoor growing depends on the space we have in our home or office.

Lighting

Every plant requires light but the amount of light required varies from plant to plant. If any disease or fungus is found on indoor plants, it can be easily treated, while it is difficult to treat in outdoor plants.
